How the blog is organized

Each post answers one question and links to the calculator that can take your inputs. The set is dated 25 Oct 2026. Posts are grouped by the same topics as the calculators: home and mortgage, auto, investing, retirement, tax and income, credit and debt, business, and everyday money.

Read the post for the relationship. Open the calculator when you want the relationship with your own figures. The two are not the same page. The post will not change its example when your balance changes. The calculator will, after you press Calculate.

What a post will not decide

A post does not approve a loan, prepare a return, or recommend a fund. Examples are teaching numbers. Limits named for 2026 should be confirmed against the IRS or the methodology before you contribute or file. The disclaimer applies to every post in the list below.

The list is grouped so you can stay inside one topic. A mortgage essay will link to a mortgage or equity calculator. A retirement essay will link to an IRA, a 401(k), a pension, or Social Security. Cross-links appear when the next question really changes, for example from a payment to the tax on the income that has to cover it. They are not added to inflate a page.

If you landed here from search, use the title as the filter. Open the post whose title is the question you have. At the end of the post, five short answers repeat the limit of the note. Then use the calculator link if you still need a figure.

FAQs

How many posts are there?

111, each dated 25 Oct 2026, grouped by finance topic.

Are the posts the same as the calculators?

No. A post explains one question. The linked calculator is where you replace the example and press Calculate.

Can I trust an example as my payment?

Only if every input matches your documents. Otherwise rerun it on the calculator.

Do you sell links in posts?

No. Related calculators are chosen because they answer the next question.

Where do corrections go?

hello@iracalculator.net, with the post address and the figure you think is wrong.
