Policy
Terms of use
Last updated 25 October 2026. By using iracalculator.net you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
What the tools are for
The calculators and guides are provided for education and personal planning. We do not warrant that a result matches a lender, a tax authority, a broker, or a religious authority. You must check figures that will affect a contract, a filing, or a payment before you rely on them. The disclaimer is part of these terms.
Use of the site
You may link to the site. You may not copy the calculators or the guides onto another site and present them as your own, and you may not scrape the library in order to republish it. The IRA Calculator name and logo are ours.
Changes and liability
The site is provided as available. We can change a formula, a limit, or a page when a source changes or a bug is found. We are not liable for decisions, losses, or missed payments that follow from using an estimate. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so those limits apply to the extent the law allows.
Questions about these terms go to hello@iracalculator.net.
The license you actually get
You may use the calculators for your own planning and you may link to any public page. You may quote a short passage with a link back to the page. You may not copy the calculator library, the guides, or the page designs onto another site and present that copy as your work.
The IRA Calculator name, the logo, and the arrangement of the desk are not licensed for reuse. A link does not need permission. A mirror of the site does.
No professional relationship
Using a page does not make IRA Calculator your lender, your broker, your tax preparer, your lawyer, or your plan fiduciary. The result is the output of the fields and the formula described on that page. The methodology lists the public 2026 figures the desk is willing to name. The disclaimer lists the decisions the desk will not make for you.
If you need a document a court, a lender, or a tax authority will accept, get that document from the institution that issues it. A screenshot of this site is not that document.
Acceptable use
Do not use the site to probe, overload, or break the service. Do not send automated traffic that pretends to be a reader in order to copy the library. Do not upload malware through any form. The contact path is an email, and it is for corrections and questions.
We may change a formula, a limit, or a sentence when a source changes or a bug is confirmed. The change appears on the page. We do not promise that an old result you wrote down will match the page after a correction. That is the point of a correction.
Liability, in plain words
The site is offered as available. We are not liable for a loan you take, a tax you file, a contribution you make, or a purchase you time because of an estimate. Some places do not allow certain limits on liability. Where that is the law, the limit applies only as far as the law allows.
These terms are governed by ordinary contract principles for a free educational site. If a sentence here conflicts with a right the law does not let you waive, the law wins on that sentence and the rest of the terms stay. Questions go to hello@iracalculator.net.
Pages, sitemaps, and fair linking
Public pages are listed in the HTML site map and in the XML sitemap index at /sitemap.xml. Search result pages are disallowed in robots.txt because they are queries, not documents. Linking to a calculator, a guide, or a policy page is encouraged. Framing the site inside another site so that our name is hidden is not.
Calculators are interactive. The number you get depends on what you type. You may not present a captured result as a quote from IRA Calculator unless you also show the inputs that produced it. A headline without its inputs is incomplete, and quoting it as our promise is misleading.
These terms sit beside the disclaimer, the privacy policy, and the methodology. If you are unsure which page answers a question, start with the disclaimer for what a result is allowed to mean, the privacy policy for what is collected, and the methodology for which public 2026 figures the formulas use.
More from pages, sitemaps, and fair linking
The site may show ads through a partner such as Google AdSense. Ads do not change these terms and do not change a formula. An advertiser is not a party to your use of a calculator. Clicking an ad leaves this host, and the other site’s terms then apply.
You are responsible for the figures you type. If you type a rate that is not your rate, the result is still arithmetically right and practically useless. The tools are not required to detect that mistake. Clear and re-enter is the remedy on the page.
These terms cover the calculators, the blogs, the topic indexes, the site map, and the policy pages. They do not cover a third-party site opened from an ad or from a source we cite. If a court finds one sentence unenforceable, the other sentences stay. The contact address for a terms question remains hello@iracalculator.net.
FAQs
Can I link to a calculator?
Yes. A normal link does not need permission. Copying the tool onto another site and presenting it as yours is not allowed.
Does a result create a client relationship?
No. The page is an estimate. It does not make the desk your lender, preparer, or advisor.
What if a formula is updated?
The page changes. An old note you saved may no longer match. Check the page again before you use the figure.
Are the blogs part of these terms?
Yes. Guides are educational, dated, and covered by the same disclaimer as the calculators.
Who receives a terms question?
hello@iracalculator.net. Include the page address and the sentence you are asking about.
